How Real Estate Postcards Can Help Agents

Real estate postcards are often used to help promote or sell a piece of property. Agents make money based upon the sale of a property. The standard rate is often seven percent, but the higher the price the greater the commission. Agents need to have a way that will allow them to turn more property and get listings. Mailings allow agents to get new leads, be familiarized with potential buyers and sellers, and are viewed more often than letters.

In order to become a prosperous agent they constantly need new leads. Mailings allow agents to prospect for customers and buyers on a wider scale than a personal visit. Other forms of communication may work, but this provides another avenue in which people can get in contact with the agent that they may not with emails, online social media, or ads.

People want to deal with someone that they trust. The more familiar a person is with someone the more the trust level rises. When agents send out mailings with their picture, logo, and company information the more their face gets ingrained in their memory. If they need an agent to buy or sell a property this is the person they will most likely contact as they are more familiar with them than anyone else.

No one likes getting junk mail. There are different definitions of what people call mail that they immediately throw away. A one piece mailer than do not need to be opened allows the agent to get their message across instantly. A letter must be opened to get the same effect. Many letters are not opened at all and are thought to be trash. Agents raise their conversion rate by switching from letters to one piece mailers.

Real estate postcards can be beneficial to agents that want to increase their commissions. They can increase their potential customer base, and become the go to person in their area with this method. It is also cheaper to use their standard letters as the postage is less.
