Comfort means correct size, correct cup size, the fabric should be soft yet not clingy to the skin, tightness at the base of the breasts should be just enough to give support, and etc. Convenience means the opening or flap could be easily opened and closed with just a hand, and that it can be opened and closed discreetly while in public. Other tips include buying at the later stage of pregnancy to have a better gauge on what size you is needed during the first few months of feeding until the breasts settles down to a more normal size, buy at least 3 pieces of different styles to test which one works best, buy ones that allows expansion both on cup size and hook. Common things to avoid in choosing nursing bra include under-wire that may give discomfort while bending and synthetic fabric that may cause rush.
