Valve Boxes are designed in a manner that complies with certain specifications and for specific market targets. They are made in a way to withstand external forces of wear and tear. For this reason, their purpose is to protect valves and their assemblies at home or in factories. In addition to that, they double up as indicators of the locations of the meters. Even though the materials used are never constant, most of them have corrugated sidewalls and reinforced covers. Their sizes and colors can vary from one item to another. To be specific, every box is made for a particular purpose. They are either used in traffic-free zones, busy areas or gardens. Most of these gadgets have thick walls and covers. Their ribs are reinforced and they can be used in residential and non-residential places. They can also be customized. One can also be able to order for them directly from the manufacturer. Moreover, the common materials used in the manufacture of valves may include PolyPro, PVDF and PVC. This makes them vulnerable to damage hence, usually encased in a thermoplastic box. Furthermore, they can be used together with the Asahi single wall. The double containment piping cannot go unmentioned as a related application. During their manufacture, they have to be made with flanged connections. This is essentially to enable easy and fast installation. They are better made using the same materials as those used on pipes since this makes it easy for the welded joint to apply directly to the box for a safer enclosure. These gadgets are complete if covered with clear covers (see me through covers) which makes it easy to detect any leakage; just in case. On the peripheral, the clear cover further enables engineers to check the position of the box with some ease for repairs. Valve boxes act as labels that show where pipes and meters are located.
