America please wake up, the psychotropic stimuli you are being provided are, as drugs, not beneficial if you believe and condone the action of the Obama Administration and factions who are controlling the flow of information critical to the future of America. As is the case with most Americans in January 2009, I had great hope for a bright future with a new President who offered hope and change. Where is the man who promised so much, yet has produced so little? Was his idea of hope and change a façade to cover a deeper desire to change America from a free capitalistic society to a more extreme socialistic type. In my humble opinion, I am sorely disappointed in President Obama and have the distinct impression; he does not have the best interest of America as his primary agenda. As I have progressed through the growing pains of life, I have never wavered in my belief America was unique and always supported the will of the majority, even when I did not agree with their decision. My party affiliation and loyalty is not pledged to Democratic or Republican... I vote for that person I believe will be most beneficial to solve the problems confronting our nation now. Today, there is a seriously divided America who daily castigate one another over politics, religious belief, illegal immigration and social issues. Most division revolves around the internet and its ability to reach millions in minutes as opposed to hours or days. The problem I see in this rapid transition of information; the internet allows disinformation to be perpetuated as fact and once promulgated, is believed as fact regardless of the truth. President Obama uses the internet as a surgeon yields a scalpel. The major difference between the two, the surgeon dissects to remove the ills of the patient in helping restore to health. The Obama Administration consistently carves at the outer border of the infection injecting quick fixes that have little effect on halting the spread of the infection. The spread of disunion caused by a populace used to receiving instant information from the internet highway and ill prepared for the speed of the current economic slowdown is blatantly evident in reading blogs and comments, which demonstrate the confusion we all share over the lack of accomplishment and leadership of this Administration. Select any site, anytime, and read the comments spewing hatred through intimidation and powerful diatribe. It is infectious throughout the internet and is extremely influential to a society reaching out and wanting to believe the information provided... regardless of factuality. The conflict spreading among America affects not only those who are astute in following the issues but, those who want to believe what they read is indeed fact, even if it is posted under the guise of opinion, written to be interpreted as fact. Those who desire to influence the voters do so using techniques designed to stir emotion and stifle free thinking. It appears, over the last generation this ploy has worked well to influence a people desiring change. The change proposed may not be in the best interest of America and may result in the failure of the constitutional government in favor of a less desirable system of government. The enemies of America cheer conflict and promote causes that appear to be solutions to problems envisioned by clouded and excited minds. Wake up America, can you not hear the celebration and support for our decline? Quit depending on the psychotropic stimulus provided by an Administration that complains and blames more than accomplishes and a media biased by the elixir of control. Clear your minds of the disease of disunion and return to a people who cherish freedom more than life and say no to stimuli aimed at self-destruction and adoration. Use your voice to take control away from a vocal minority and return it to the silent majority who remain vigilant of American history and hold the key to her future.
