There are lots of beautiful islands in Croatia, such as Korcula , the birthplace involving Marco Polo, Hvar , Brac , which has just about the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean sea - Zlatni rat - which is also a windsurfing paradise. The island of Mljet which is situated between the island involving Korcula and Dubrovnik. The the majority visited island is Krk, but in the Kvarner there are the well known islands with Cres, Losinj, Rab, Pag... to name but a few! National areas In Croatia you can find seven National parks - The mountain of Risnjak is a national park, situated relatively near to the coast, in the region associated with Gorski Kotar.
