Plitvica Seas represent a phenomenon of karst hydrography. A lot of caves and pits are located in the area of this park. There are actually sixteen lakes in crystal blue and green colors which are connected by cascades and dazzling waterfalls. The highest waterfall in Croatia is situated in this beautiful park. It is actually 78 meters high waterfall Veliki Punch. The brown bear is probably the most attractive specie in Plitvice Seas. 126 bird species are registered in your community of Plitvice Lakes of which about 70 constantly nest at this time there. The Plitvice Lakes national park may be inscribed on the UNESCO Environment Heritage List in 1979. The national park is among the most beautiful sights of European countries. It is the oldest and biggest national park in Croatia. That climate is between coastal together with continental. Summers are warm with plenty of sunshine. Winters are relatively longer, cold and snowy. The best time to visit this beautiful location is in the summer, although winter has an unforgettable picture of frozen waterfalls. Just about every season is rich with colorations, sounds and scents. The most attractive the main national park covers the section of 8 km where the visitor trails are situated. Wooden bridges and trails provide contact with waterfalls and lakes. So, don't just find about all those beautiful sites, visit Croatia and its famous locations. . Sibenik is a beautiful city and a superb starting point for exploring that national parks of Krka, Kornati and Telascica Bay. There are charter boats inside marinas of Marina Mandalina, located on the centre of town, and Marina Solaris. What you need - Experience, Qualifications, Visa Requirements, etc. - The skipper of the boat is required to have an ICC certificate and also equivalent. Charter Season - The most effective season for a yacht charter in Croatia is early summer with good winds in May and June mainly in the S/SE. Mornings tend to be calm with the wind increasing later in this afternoon to around 15 - 20 knots. The months of July and August in Croatia see more mellow conditions which is OK for those who don't mind motoring on their yacht charter. Day3 - Skradin - Rogoznica - 25 miles. Return down river and then follow the coast SE to Rogoznica. This attractive fishing village has a naturally protected harbour with good depths. Fresh fish is available on a daily basis in the restaurants. Try this fish soup prepared?? la Rogoznica. Morning 4 - Rogoznica - Komiza : 38 miles. Head S to the island of Vis. Komiza is situated in a deep bay relating to the W coast of the tropical isle. There are several monasteries and fortresses worth a try. On summer evenings you are able to see performances of Klape, harmony-singing communities, and children's choirs on the coastal promenade or per of local restaurants. Komiza is renowned due to the wines. Day 5 : Komiza - Vis - 10 mile after mile. Sail around the island to your town Vis on the NE coast with the island. The town is located in a large and protected bay. The port of Vis is situated in the SW part of your bay. The island is well-known for its wide selection of fish. There are extensive stocks involving tuna and large crabs so check out the local restaurants.
