The dissatisfaction of Heroes fans with chapter 2 of the series is overwhelming. It seems like the writers strike will turn out to be a good thing for the Heroes production, just to give them enough time to think things over and reevaluate their performance in the first half of the season. Episode 7, "Out of Time," did reveal a few things about season 2, but it was definitely lacking in depth and volume. Besides, it came too late. This volume will be having three more episodes because of the strike, and it is just too late to build up something fantastic in the Heroes sense. "Four Months Ago" promised viewers a bunch of revelations, which, in the end, were no more than just no-brainers. They did not even recall how Sylar escaped his death and how he landed in the middle of a Mexican jungle. It's either the writers think this is insignificant or they plan to reveal this on a later date. The only thing we know for sure is that the Company got their hands on Peter, the Haitian reformatted his brain and Bob and Elle were attempting to cure him. Adam Monroe on the other hand, is apparently an escaped Company prisoner who attempted to tell the world about his powers 30 years ago. Does that make any sense? Is it really even relevant to the viewers? Where is the substantiality of that fact? Hopefully the last three episodes would pick up and would actually contain substantial storylines to keep us at the edge of our seats. As said earlier, the writers strike will give time for the Heroes production to refresh themselves and get on to the real business. Stop stalling and give us the villain at the first episode. Stop isolating each Hero as if they were never connected in season 1 and most of all, stop adding up new irrelevant Heroes. Hopefully Tim Kring and the whole Heroes production would realize their mistakes and redeem themselves in volume three of Heroes.
