4. Check how long the company has been around, because older companies are frequently more established and are here for the long run.
5. Beware of companies that ask for money or your credit-based card information, because all with the legitimate survey companies I've ever seen are 100 % free.
6. Look to see if they have a place on the site where you can contact them either by message or phone number and if you have any questions feel free to contact them.
7. Check to see if they have a frequently asked questions section and check it out to check out how well they solution the questions.
8. Turn to see if they have a privacy policy, so you can know if your information is being protected.
9. Check to see if they have a code of ethics or standards or fit in with any organizations that help good business practices.
10. Look to see how you're going to get paid, because it's best to get paid for your time.

Believe it or not all the best ones I have seen follow these criteria and tend to be professional companies. After you follow all these steps it will be easier to tell if the survey site you are interested in is a good an individual or not.
