One of the seven holiest places in India and a famous tourist destination near to Delhi at a distance of 160 km is Mathura which is the birth place of Lord Krishna also called as Sri Krishna Janma-Bhoomi located on the banks of river Yamuna. Agra is a city on the banks of river Yamuna and the primary attraction of this Agra is Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. You can hire a Delhi Agra cab to visit Agra only as a one day trip from Delhi, the capital city of India. It receives a number of tourists during the festival of Taj Mahostav which is held in the month of February or March and the other attraction is Agra Fort also called Red Fort. The places in and around Agra are Balkeshwar temple a temple of Lord Shiva, Mankameshwar Temple, Rawli Maharaj Temple, gardens like Ram Bagh, Swami Bagh and other sightseeing places like Sikandra the tomb of Akbar lies in the centre of the Garden, Itmad –Ud-Daulah’s Tomb sometimes called the Baby Taj, Jama Masjid a large Mosque are few of the places.
