Traiteur – there’s more than a touch of theatre to the Friday brunch experience here, with its setting overlooking the marina. Compare gin palaces while you tuck into oysters, lobster and fillet steak – but save some room for the selection of at least 14 desserts. Al Muntaha at the Burj Al Arab – the Burj is the city’s most iconic building, and among the most famous of the 5 star hotels in Dubai. As you’d expect, its brunch is also the most expensive, but fill up on the unlimited caviar and you’ll be sure to get value for money! Glasshouse Brasserie – choose your starter and pudding from the buffet and your main course from the a la carte menu. It’s great for families, with a cheaper rate for children and free food forr the under-sixes, and there’s unlimited bubbly included in the full-price menu for mum and dad. Spice Island – it might not be cheap but it’s certainly cheerful. A range of cooking stations serve up dishes from around the globe, and there’s face-painting, balloon sculpture and a special buffet menu for the kids. Al Qasr – you’ll have to queue, but the decadent brunch here is worth the wait. If you’re feeling homesick, this is the place to come for fish and chips, curries and brilliant beefburgers. Splendido – the Ritz Carlton is one of Dubai’s top hotels luxury is the order of the day here, and the no-holds-barred brunch features just about every dish you’ve ever dreamed of, from soup to sushi, salad to shawarma.
