According to PAN UK (Pesticide Action Network) cotton accounts for 10% of all pesticides and 22.5% of insecticides used in agriculture. It takes 1/3, to produce a pound of pesticides on a single T-shirt. The same pesticides and insecticides that are linked to cancer, on the field, where farmers sprayed, and the health of animals and the environment.
