Ronny Smith self-development coaching Blog-5 Today is Day 5 of our personal development coaching gathering begun by Ronny Smith Although Ronny Smith spearheaded this self-leadership mentoring gathering initiative, it is YOUR gathering too, so please submit your input on an everyday basis. WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS personal development mentoring meeting essentially put, we all want to be victorious in life, yet achieving accomplishment in certain areas of our lives has established to be very challenging , so we all need HELP. I believe through your comments, suggestions, ideas and input we can help each other achieve high levels of accomplishment we never dreamed of. I begun to say that achieving high levels of attainment is hard, but I was told that if I tell myself it's hard, then it will be hard. So I switched the word "hard" to challenging. I might also add that achieving successfulness is not easy, because if it was we wouldn't need this blog, and we all would be triumphant - but I would like to change "not easy" to "different," for the same reason. The bottom line is, success has been challenging and different, because I'm just not used to achieving accomplishment in those areas of my life that I am not comfortable with, find interesting, or enjoy doing. Sure, when its fun, interesting and enjoyable, I can do it all night and become real triumphant at it. But, when it becomes tedious, boring, requiring hard work on a long-term consistent basis, THAT' when I fall short. For example, writing this Blog, which begun as a day-to-day commitment, was fun, interesting and enjoyable the first few articles, but then it became monotonous, and challenging, so I stopped writing it for numerous days. This is just 1 recent example of many examples in my life where I would started something and not finish it. SO I ASK YOU, WHAT DO YOU THINK CAUSES US TO START REAL GOOD BUT THEN FALL SHORT AND NOT FINISH TO THE END? I'm asking for your assist on this, which is the real reason why I started this self-leadership training blog. I mean it is real easy for me to wait until I master myself, develop consistent triumph habits that will lead me to triumph all that I dream of, THEN, write about how I did it. That I can do and commit my life to doing! But what's unique about this self-mastery mentoring meeting is that I will be sharing with you my day-to-day challenges towards achievement in life, while seeking your assist and applying lessons learned along the process. In closing, there's one thing I know for sure is that I need to put the bat away whenever I fall short of fulling the goals I set for myself on an everyday basis. John Maxwell stated in his "A Minute with Maxwell" message for today, that we all need COMPASSION; we all need to be provided GRACE; we all need to be CARED FOR. So, above all, I need to be compassionate to MYSELF whenever I fall short of my daily goals. Once I forgive myself, I focus on the accomplishments I was able to achieve, pat myself on the back for it, brush myself off, and get back on the horse again, with the promise to myself that I will do better tomorrow.
