Clean energy is concerned with energy generated from natural sources to provide heating and electricity in our homes without creating environmental pollution. The dependence on natural energy sources for the above mentioned utilities is rapidly increasing in popularity. The best way to encourage clean energy in our environment is to limit the patronage of the sources that generate pollutants, or stop it entirely if possible, and replace them with green energy sources. It looks easier to say than done. For green energy to impact on our environment there is the need for education on the need for it by hammering more on its advantages and highlighting on the disadvantages of non-clean energy sources. The most noted clean energy sources among others include energy sourced from the wind. Gone were the days when installing such a system involves going through complex procedures which is not familiar to the ordinary man. This type of system is suitable for our farms. This is because you need a strategic place to trap the wind to make the turbines turn enough to generate the required energy. Technology has however made it possible to mount effective units in our homes. They are good for homes which are situated to take advantage of the direction of the wind. The main advantage here is when the wind ceases for a long period. Electrical energy generated from the sun also qualifies under clean energy. Solar panels are spread in the open to absorb sunlight as the main raw material for the generation of electrical energy. You need various degrees of panels to make the required energy. The panels are comparatively expensive. But for the volume required to operate effectively, hydro generated electricity is very much appropriate when categorizing green energy sources. It is very expensive for an individual to come out with a unit. It also becomes a problem during dry seasons. Efforts to reload water turning turbines of this unit back to generate electricity have not been cost effective. The last to be discussed among the green sources is the magnetic generators. The principle underlying its operation is simple. We can all see for ourselves when iron filings get near the magnet. They are all attracted to the magnet instantly. This attraction energy is made to turn continuously a shaft and in the process made to generate electricity.
