Going on a Washington tour can be both enlightening and educational if you go with a bunch of school kids. In fact, there are all kinds of Washington tour groups going on in Washington DC. Schools from all over the nation bring students to go on field trips that includes going on a Washington tour. Taking a group of school kids on a Washington tour is also a great opportunity for their parents who will be traveling with them as chaperones. There are all kinds of exciting and historical sites to go see on a Washington tour. There are other tours to go on but an educational tour is one of the best. When you take a group of school kids on a Washington tour be sure you also include a tour of Jamestown and Williamsburg if you can. Kids can learn all kinds of things about how our nation got started when they go on a Washington tour. An historic Washington tour can take up to four or five days so be sure you plan your trip accordingly. A Washington tour will include a tour of the Capitol, the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Supreme Court and National Archives. Make sure your tour includes as many historical sites as possible. If you also take the kids to Virginia they can go and see the Arlington Cemetery and Mount Vernon. Finding a place for everyone to stay when they go together as a group is easy to do too. There are plenty of accommodations for groups who go together on a Washington tour. Of course, you can go with your family on an educational tour of Washington DC and Jamestown too. You don't have to travel with a school group. People from all over the world come to the DC area. There are all kinds of tourist attractions to go see and enjoy. It is a good idea to contact your travel agent to find out what your options are for going on a trip to Washington. You can also make travel and hotel arrangements through your travel agent. Be sure you make your plans early though so you can find the appropriate accommodations when you go on your Washington tour.
