e-Book Description Gays have said for decades, that they are born gay. And for decades, many people have not listened to their words. What if they are telling the truth? The possibilities of certain chemicals in the brain, being absent or present at the time of conception, may be the missing piece to the puzzle. The Ingram Report has published this report as an ‘open mind project’ which is open, to discussion and improvement. Documentation is included. e-Book Review As a precursor to this review I will say, I am not gay. My younger brother is, though. My parents did not take this well at all, I can still remember it vividly. I don't fully blame them, back then it was far worse than it is today. Thankfully it is becoming a more acceptable lifestyle than ever. My daughter just reached the age where she asks about everything, and that is usually followed with a series of 'Why's', the other day she threw me a curve ball by asking me what gay meant. I wasn't sure how to even answer. I don't want to be anything like how my parents were on the subject, but I know I still have to be careful what I say and choose my words wisely. It is important for her first impressions of homosexuality be accurate and intelligent ones. I don't want to give her any stereotypes or lies to carry on with her for who knows how long. I sort of brushed off the question letting her know I would tell her another time. Meanwhile I have been reading several books about homosexuality, and also what to tell inquisitive kids about it. I feel confident after reading this book that I am ready for her to ask again. I would much rather her hear the truth of things from me before some school kid puts negative thoughts into her brain. Definitely an extremely enlightening and helpful book. I got it to teach her, but I ended up learning a ton as well. I am going to definitely suggest this to my brother AND my parents. e-Book Author Because of the subject, people have offered support of the e-Book, but have not allowed a public review to be written. Sandy Ingram, the author, who is a retired pre-school teacher and is not gay, has said that she is comfortable with the gay community “not” providing a written review of the e-Book. It is understandable that people may not want to be associated with the topic for a lot of reasons. Ms. Ingram says the e-Book provides insights into possibilities and answers to unanswered questions. Parents will feel a sense of empowerment. Gays will feel a sense of understanding, says Ms. Ingram. Can the information change the life style of a gay person to a straight person? Only a gay person can answer this question, says Ms. Ingram.
