During the festivities celebrating the 21st anniversary of the Temple of Good Will I talked about our broad view on the tool called Charity in the development of a global consciousness with a community practicalness that paves with the concrete of altruism the paths future generations will follow: Love, Harmony, Solidarity, spirit of Justice connected to Kindness, never to revenge; Liberty with respect for other Human Beings; Truth without social, political, philosophical, religious or scientific fanaticism; Aid to those who suffer in body or soul; Politics and Economics followed by the virtues of Correction and Generosity; Instruction, Education, Reeducation, according to the Ecumenical Fraternity. Therefore, everything that makes creatures strong in Peace or war, on Earth and in the Invisible World, which is not an abstraction, forms the conclusive concept of ideology for the Citizen of the Spirit: Charity. In other words, the moral air that we, as truly civilized beings, should breathe. THE WORLD GREETS THE 21st ANNIVERSARY OF THE TGW Emotion, Accomplishing Faith and Hope for the construction of a better world were the feelings that predominated in the special ceremony for the TGW on Saturday, October 23, in Brasília/DF. Thousands of pilgrims coming from many regions of Brazil and the world overcrowded the premises of the Temple of Peace—acclaimed by the people as one of the Seven Wonders of the federal capital—and the World Parliament of Ecumenical Fraternity, the LGW’s ParlaMundi. This marvelous meeting of Ecumenical Spirituality could be followed across the entire planet through the Super Good Will Communication Network (radio, TV station and the Internet—www.boavontade.com). Via the Boa Vontade Portal, many messages coming from different countries reinforced the value of the message of Peace and Ecumenism that the TGW has been transmitting to the peoples. From New Jersey/USA, Mariana Malaman sent the following message: “My sister Sâmara, my mother Conceição, my grandmother Osmira and my cousins Adrian and Bryan Fernandez de Albuquerque and I are following the celebration of the 21st anniversary of the Temple of Good Will. We are very happy we could be part of this Spiritual Festival! Thank you very much for everything and we hope God will always bless the TGW with His Infinite Light of Love, gathering everyone into Jesus’ Single Flock!”. We also received from Ireland an e-mail from Emídio Valereto Neto and Lívia Bueno Dourado: “We are very happy to follow this celebration of the Heavenly and Earthly Humanities”. INTERNET USERS APPLAUD THE TEMPLE OF PEACE With this title, the Bona Volo Portal (www.boavontade/esperanto) brought beautiful messages from Esperantists across the entire planet to the LGW’s Pyramid. There are wishes from Australia, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Cuba, Slovakia, Spain, Estonia, France, Holland, Hungary, Iran, Japan, Nepal, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania and Russia. It is also worth highlighting the presence of pilgrims from Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Portugal, and the United States. NOSSO LAR MOVIE Simone Barreto, from the LGW’s Fraternal Relations Department in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, informed me that “on October 6, ‘Nosso Lar, Behind the Scenes’ was released. The journalist Wagner de Assis’ production presents the making of the movie directed by him, which was based on Chico Xavier’s book called ‘Nosso Lar’, dictated by the Spirit André Luiz, who describes life in a spiritual community”. “I am very grateful to the LGW for its support and for divulging the film”, emphasized the author. I have received a copy of the book carrying the following dedication: “To Paiva Netto, all my affection and gratitude for taking part in this story. Thank you, Wagner de Assis. 10/6/10”. Dear Wagner, the art of interpretation is also a noble and venerable profession. In fact, drama is an excellent instrument for spiritualizing the masses.
