Ever since the launching of Words with Friends by Zynga, there has been a steady increase of people going crazy over Scrabble and Scrabble-like games. And of course, like in playing any game, there are times of up and down. Players experience playing brilliant moves that shock even themselves. And there are times when frustration is high because you can’t seem to see what your next move will be. Racking your brain doesn’t always help. So, since competitiveness can be found in all of us, several innovative people have come up with the usual solution: cheats. Some may say that using a cheat isn’t a good way to play a game. And, for the most part, that is true. But for games like Scrabble, things aren’t so black and white. What does this mean? Well, everyone needs some Scrabble help a time or two. Not everyone has perfect memory, for one thing. Even if you’re able to recall exactly how your first kiss was like, it doesn’t mean that you can conjure up the words you need to win the game. Playing a game can cause people to feel pressure. And that pressure can block your mind from recalling the word you need to make the score. With some Scrabble help, you can overcome that mind block and get yourself feeling confident again to make your own brilliant moves. Another reason why some Scrabble help can become necessary is for players who don’t have a great vocabulary to support their gameplay. Not everyone is a wordsmith but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t play the game. Of course, memorizing word lists is a good strategy but who has the time? Even if you did, how much will you be able to memorize and how many of those words will you really be able to recall? Now, not having a good number of words in your vocabulary doesn’t mean that you’ll always need some Scrabble help at your side. It only means that you need it for some of the time. After all, you can still play some really great words that have been in your vocabulary for years such as QUIZ (22 points), JINX (18 points), FAXING (17 points), and JUKEBOX (27 points). For those times where you have don’t have any vowels or have too many, you will need Scrabble help, wouldn’t you say? Eventually, you’ll start to pick up new words to add to your vocabulary and these can easily be recalled because of the memory you will associate it with – using the online tool to score big. The two last reasons why people need some Scrabble help from time to time is motivation and entertainment. The first one is brought about by the high you get from scoring big or at the very least scoring something when you thought you would pass your turn. At the very least, you’ll become motivated to add more new words to your vocabulary just to be able to do that kind of move again. Entertainment is a side benefit of using Scrabble help because it makes you more of a challenge to your opponent. And, obviously, it’s fun to win. With all these reasons, you can’t deny the necessity of having Scrabble help just a click of a mouse away. Of course, that doesn’t mean you should use it all the time. All I can say is, if it’s there and it can help, who am I to say no?
