Trees, plants and flowers play a very important role; they make oxygen, which is very important. Trees are also good for building; they provide shade in the summer time and can provide a nice touch of landscaping in your yard. As trees provide all these good resources, trees can also become too big and can become a danger. Below I will explain a way you can control the growth of a small tree you would like to plant so in the future the tree does not get way too big. As you bring a small tree home you just bought, one would think of is just to dig a hole and plop the tree in the hole. But doing this, the roots and tree will keep on growing year after year because of the tree being planted right in the ground where the roots have lots of space and dirt to grow in underground. But if you wanted to plant a certain tree near your house or near something that the roots could damage if allowed to continue growing without controlling the growth. A way to control the growth of the tree to a certain size is to only allow the roots to get so big, by controlling the growth of the roots by buying a big enough container or a big flower pot to put the tree in.The tree will still grow, but to a certain size because the trees roots only have a contained area and a smaller space to grow in. Another way to control the growth of the tree for years to come is after you find a good spot in your yard for your tree is to dig the hole and put a big enough flower pot in the hole. Put the tree in the pot add dirt, soil and fertilizer then water and the tree will grow but only grow to a certain size, because the roots can only grow so much in the pot, plus the pot is hidden in the ground too, so the tree looks naturally planted. Then in the future you will have a nice tree the size you want and it won't get way too big and out of control.
