Autistic children are found to dislike environments which are stimulating like the bathroom where there are bright lights and sounds of running water and also the flushing of water. They will get easily frightened and they are also very averse to taking off their clothes. These children are also not aware of their bodies getting soiled nor are they aware of the need to do their potty. So it is imperative that special methods be employed when it comes to toilet training for autism children.
