A public relations strategy is considered the most subtle of all marketing techniques, especially online. Proper PR campaigns are the driving force behind generating new leads and potential customers. A public relations strategy also affects a business's sales in a positive way when executed properly. It's important to utilize a public relations strategy online, because social networks are the most popular types of sites on the web. In fact, the most powerful way to implement a public relations strategy is by using a social network as a campaign launching pad. Many website owners don't have the time to monitor and maintain a positive image for multiple profiles and accounts, which is why hiring PR firms is advised.
