From ancient times, people have always asked the same questions: what is the essence of our life? To be honest, there is no definite answer to it, for different people have different attitudes towards life. Well, in my opinion, life is a long journey that is full of beautiful flowers and big stones. Since we were born, we have been destined to undergo happiness and suffering in our whole life. Many great men said that human beings were equal, for every person had the same rights to run after. On the contrary, Aristotle, before any of them, had said that men are by no means equal naturally, but that some are born for slavery and others for dominion. As to these two opposite viewpoints, I agreed with the latter and believed that we should make our every effort so as to make our life meaningful. When we were little children, we should learn how to walk step by step. As the saying goes, a slow sparrow should make an early start, so our parents try to make our first eyes of education so beautiful. Until now, I still remember that I was eager to run with my elder sister and fell on hard stones and lost a lot of blood. At that time, my mother said patiently to me that I should not run before learning to walk steadily. After two months, I walked well and was able to run fast without being tripped over stones. Since I was 8 years old, I have started to go to school with my cousin, who was a clever little boy and did well in study in our class. On the contrary, my ability to study was not as good as his, so I was confused and disappointed with myself. When returning home, I chatted with my mother, who was an uneducated woman. After hearing that, she said that it was normal to come across difficulties on your way to study and you should try to think of good learning methods that were suitable for you. Since then I began to have classes and do homework carefully, so I have achieved a great success in my study. Of course, sometimes I failed in exams sadly, but I would encourage me to continue on and told myself that nothing was impossible if we set our mind to do it. In conclusion, challenges and difficulties are like big stones in our life, and we should overcome them with confidence and perseverance.
