Once two friends toiled across the desert together, they quarreled on the road suddenly and one gave the other a slap in the face. The one who was slapped said nothing but wrote down one sentence in the sand: “my best friend raised his hand to slap my face.” They went on walking forward and saw oases here and there. When they were about to have a bath there, the one who had been slapped fell into the quagmire and started drowning, but his friend saved him in time. After he recovered from the edger of drowning, he carved words on stone “today my best friend saved me.” “Why do you write words in sand when I hut you, but carved words on the stone?” His friend asked in a puzzle. “When someone hurt us, we should write them in sand, and the tolerant wind will erase the hatred. On the contrary, when someone do something good for us, we should carve it on stone and no wind will blow away them. This story is to tell us that we should learn to write our hurts in the sand and to carve our benefits in stone. As we know, life is a long journey and we will come cross different people in different places and stages. Someone will cherish us and regard us as their best friends. In my opinion, it is a great honor to share happiness and sorrow together with our best friends, for they give best wishes to us and support us no matter what actions we take. Even if we fail, they will accompany us all the time and try their best to help us get out of the trouble. Once one of my teacher said that you should appreciate someone that treat you well when you have nothing at all. For they place greater emphasis on your personality instead of wealth, status or appearance. To be honest, I can not agree with her more, so I care about my good friends and get in close touch with them. It is said that it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but an entire life to forget them. In other words, we should treasure our friends forever. If you have any stories about stone, please do not hesitate to share them with me and I will provide more information about it onstonebtb.
