Once, there was a tone on the mountain. Although he was just an ordinary stone, he felt very confident. One day. When he saw a beautiful girl and fell love with her at first sight, so he came to the girl and said foolishly, “Dear girl, I love you and let’s get together.” “GO away, for I like gold instead of a broken stone!” The girl answered rudely. “I am truly a piece of gold.” The stone said with confidence. But the girl lost her patience to listen to him and kicked him away with her feet. The stone was so hard struck that he made his decision to hone himself so as let the girl regret that. Finally, his flash was found by a wise man and he took it to the broad world. After being honed by the wise man for thousands of years, the stone’s coat receded and exposed gold’s brilliance. What a big surprise it is! The stone is actually a piece of gold, but why no one found that except this wise man? Upon hearing that, the girl felt very regretful, came to the gold and said, “I love you, dear god, and let’s together!” At that time the stone was no longer the original stone, but he also thought he was a stone, so he answered, “No! I am still a stone but not the gold that you love.” So the girl regretted hurting the stone in her whole life. Well, my dear friend, could you tell me the difference between the wise man and the girl? In my opinion, the wise man observed the essence of the stone, but the girl paid attention to the appearance of the stone. In fact, many people in the world pay much attention to the surface of things instead of their inherence. However, the inner luster of things is far better than their appearance. Therefore, when we observe things, we should not only observe them by our eyes, but also by our hearts. Therefore, we will find something beautiful and everlasting that can not been seen by others. Finally, I would like to tell you that we should cherish valuable challenges and true love around us instead of letting them slip through our fingers with a great pity. Well, if you are interested in this story and more information about stones, you can enjoy yourselves on stonebtb.
