Cockroaches Hate Cucumber If you are deadset on keeping cockroaches out of a certain part of your home such as the pantry or your room then try placing cucumber peelings or slices on the ground near them. Cockroaches will stay as far away from cucumbers as possible. Apparently the smell of cucumbers is something that cockroaches can't stand to smell. Get a Predator Another very good natural cockroach control method is to buy one of the many cockroaches predators. For example chickens are widely known for how much they love eating cockroaches. If you can get a couple chickens in an area you believe cockroaches have infested then the chickens will take care of the cockroach control themselves.
