Originally, I was an ordinary stone in a large mountain, where I had a great many friends and enjoyed myself. One day, the wind blew strongly, and suddenly there was a startling flash of bright lightening thunder rolled and boomed. Rain started to pour down relentlessly. Both of flowers and grasses were every afraid to see that and shook nervously. Upon hearing a “bomb longlong”, I fainted at once. When I woke up, I felt quite uncomfortable. Suddenly I found that everything was quite different, for there was no flower or grass at all. Gradually I realized that I was blown away to this ripping stream by a burst of strong wind. Hence, I had to start my new life here. In the river, the fish, shrimps and crabs would play with me, the tortoises would tell stories to me and the stream would cover me. Year after year, because of water, I became a very smooth and beautiful pebble from an angular rock. One day, a group of children dabbled in the water happily. Suddenly, one child found me, held me in his right hand and said, “What a beautiful pebble it is! I want to pick it home to be an accessory.” Hence, I was taken by him and returned to his home. To my delight, his home, especially his own room was very beautiful and accessories were decorated hare and there. He carefully put me on the table, regarded me as his favorite treasure and told me his trouble and little secrets. Besides, there were two fish tanks on the table. One tank had two shrimps and five little fish, the other had 3 little tortoises and four little crabs. Gradually, I made good friends with them and I would tell my stories to them. One night, a fish asked me curiously, “Dear cobblestone, do you missed the mountain you had lived in before and are you eager to return to it? In my opinion, you will be much freer there. Comparing to the mountain, our owner’s room is very small.” “To be honest, sometimes I will miss my happy times in the mountain, but I am unwilling to return to it, for I am fond of communicating with human beings and I believe everything in the world can live in harmony.” The pebble said firmly with a smile in his mouth. Finally, are you impressed with the stone? If you are, you can gain much more information from stonebtb .
