Bridesmaid Dresses Color Options

Fashion & Cosmetics,Online Shopping,Sales
You have to admit that bridesmaids are another focus on your wedding. That is to say, you should not only dress up yourself well, it is your duty to find your girls beautiful dresses. And the major problem is probably the color. Expect for the shade you like, you also need to guarantee your pick fits the tone of the ceremony: royal, beach, casual, formal, etc... Don't ever forget to ask your girls' opinion, allow them to have their ideas. So today, we will have a close analysis of the meaning of the dresses colors. Red: Red is hot, and often been chose as bridesmaid dress colors. It also goes well with elegant evening wedding, but if the dress is shorter or contains other colors, the tone will down a little. Your girls will never want the "fire engine" effect, so if you choose red, choose those shades that are muted. Avoid show your bridesmaid too much sexy, modest dress is suitable. If your girls are olive or brown skin, they will look best with red; but red will make blondes and redheads look pale. Orange. Orange is in vogue, especially subtle shades of peach and coral. Not everyone can pull off orange, though, especially darker and brighter shades. Bright orange tends to look better on women with dark skin.

Navy blue or royal blue: Blues are sophisticated, slimming and looks good on most women, so dark shade blue can be alternative to blacks without the mourning connotation. If your bridesmaids are of older age, blue is the right chose. If you choose navy, try not to go too dark or else the dresses might clash with the tuxes.

Black: If the wedding is going to be an elegant evening one, black is more appropriate than other colors. And black itself is considered a little bit formal, you could casual it with a shorter dress or combining it with white or light color accessories. And black looks good on almost women who are slim and will accented on woman's sexy; what's more, black bridesmaid dresses could be wear again after wedding like other formal occasions. Maroon and hunter green. Together with navy blue, maroon and hunter green are clean, vivid, "preppy" colors. They're dark and colorful without being too overpowering. Green is a hard color to pull off, so ask your guides and know how to dress green on your girls. Purple. Bold and colorful enough, purple can be a good alternative to red, but won't come with red's sexual connotations. Like red, purple can make a woman with pale skin look paler, but it can also complement yellowish skin tones. Choose shades carefully, as some can be pretty tacky, and heavier bridesmaids had better not to choose purple. Pale blue, pale green, pale yellow, or lavender: These colors are beautiful, aren't they? They are nice alternatives to pink that aren't quite so girly. These shades works best for daytime weddings in spring and summer, they are also not suitable for older bridesmaids. Pink: Innocence and youthful femininity, that is what pink wants to convey to us. Pink is a good choice for a spring time, outdoor wedding. But pink is not that suitable of older bridesmaids. It pink is a must, go for a more sophisticated choice, that is rum pink, feminine and pretty enough with too prom-like. If you want to tone down the prom like dress, do not choose frilly bows and poofy stuff. Furthermore, since it is the bridesmaid who will be paying for the dresses, accessories , jewelry , and other odds and ends, the bride should take into account their budgets and financial situations. So knowing how and where to buy bridesmaid dresses is very important.
