In Tianjin Province, there was an old woman and she had a beautiful young daughter, who was a nurse. Unfortunately, she died of an accident. So her mother was very sorrowful. One night, she suddenly appeared in her mother’s dream and told her that she was reborn a yellow dog in a temple called Zhouyuan Temple. If her mother misses her, she could visit her there. The old woman was awaked by this dream and the situation happened in the dream impresses her, which seemed to take place just now. Because she missed her daughter so much that he thought this dream was real, and she was determined to find her daughter in Zhouyuan Temple despite her families’ dissuade her from leaving home. There were a great many temples in large China, so how did the old woman find such a small temple? She visited many temples in different scales all over the country, but there are few people hearing of Zhouyuan Temple, let alone where it was located in. Nevertheless, the old woman didn’t give up and made up her mind to find this temple and her daughter. One day, she arrived at Wutai Mountain, which is one of China’s four famous Buddhist Mountains and have lots of pilgrims all the year round. She thought maybe some people would know the small temple. Consequently, she met a designate monk, who told her that he originally became a monk in the temple in Guangling County, Shanxi Province and drew a draft for her to find it. The old woman thanked him and started off. At that time, the road was difficult for people to walk. With this draft and inquiry, she took a train, bus and had a walk. After going through many ups and downs, she found a small temple in a ravine, and the tablet of this temple was written Zhouyuan Temple. At the moment, she knocked at the gate of the temple and a master opened the gate. Before she introduced herself to the master, the yellow dog lay on her feet, burst into tears and shouted sadly. Seeing that, she realized that this dog in front of her was his reborn daughter, so she hugged the dog in her arms and cried loudly. Later on, the old woman stayed in this temple for a long time and donated much money to this temple. After hearing this true story, do you want to know more about temples ?
