When he was a child, Einstein was very naughty, which made his mother worry about him. Although his mother always warned him again and again, he didn’t care about it at all. When he was 16 years old, his father stopped him when he was about to fish and pick up pebbles in the river and then told him a story. Unexpectedly, it is this story that has made a great influence on Einstein in his whole life. Now I would like to share you with this story as follows. “Yesterday our neighbor Jack and I went to sweep the southern factory’s big chimney. We stepped on its inner steel ladder to go reach the chimney. Your Jack uncle walked in front of me and we grabbed the hand rail to climb step by step. When we came down, your jack uncle was still in front of me. Afterwards, when we climb out of the chimney, we found something strange: his back and face were blackened with soot in the chimney, but I didn’t have any soot.” On one hand, When I saw his appearance, I thought my face must be dirty like a clown, so I went to the stream nearby to wash my face again and again; On the other hand, he saw I was very clean when climbing out of the chimney, so he mistakenly thought he was as clean as me. Therefore, he casually washed his hands and walked on the street. As a consequence, everyone on the street laughed at him and considered him as a mad man.” Einstein’s father told him with a smile in his mouth. Upon hearing this story, Einstein couldn’t help laughing loudly with his father. After that, his father said to him seriously, “in fact, no one was able to be your mirror, and only yourself is your own mirror. If you regard others as your mirror, maybe you will be genius even though you are actually mad.” At that moment, Einstein understood his father’s meaning and became shy immediately. From then on, Einstein stayed away from this group of naughty children and used himself as a mirror to examine and reflect himself now and then, finally his own mirror has reflected his brilliant life. After hearing this story, do you have a deep understanding of yourself? Besides a mirror, you should be hard like stones. Well, in short, if you are interested in stones, you can visit stonebtb.
