One day, a farmer’s donkey carelessly fell into a dry well. Although the farmer thought of different ways to save the donkey, it whined bitterly in the well for several hours. Finally, the farmer decided to give up. In his opinion, this donkey was so old that it was unwilling to take great pains to save it out, but anyway, the well should be covered. So the farmer invited neighbors to help him burn the donkey in the well so as to get rid of its pain. Every farmer’s neighbor took a shovel and carried sands into the dry well. When the donkey realized its condition, it cried sadly at first. Unexpectedly, the donkey kept quiet for a while. The farmer was very curious about it and looked at the bottom of the well, what happened in front of him surprised him a bit. When the sands fell in the donkey’s back, it quickly shook off the sands to one side and then stood on the soils. Instead of being burned in the well, the donkey was rescued successfully. After reading this story, I have learnt much from it. In our life we should get through the backset so as to reach the higher levels. The most important point is that we should think highly of ourselves. Like donkeys, sometimes we will inevitably drop into the dry well and there are different kinds of soils pouring on us. The secret of coming out of the dry well is to shake off soils and stand on them. In our life, there are many unknown things that we should deal with them flexibly. At first sight, it seems like a big problem that we can’t solve it successfully, but if we analyze the situation carefully, and take some positive actions, we will solve it in the end. On the contrary, if we are negative towards life and awaited our doom, we will solve nothing at all. As we know, if we never give up to destiny and to realize dreams, we will be successful finally. Even if we are beaten for 1000 times, we will stand up and succeed at last. In my opinion, attitude is everything. If you keep confident, positive and energetic, you will get what you want!
