Or Why Our Rams and Shepherds are Confused Our readers already know the importance of keeping the flesh strong and in good health. We know we maintain our natural bodies through diet and exercise in order to maintain our physical health. We maintain our health through our faith, routinely visiting our medical professionals, and our practice of the Holistic Healing Arts like Yoga: “My child, when you are ill, do not delay, but pray to the Lord, and he will heal you... Then give the physician his place, for the Lord created him; do not let him leave you, for you need him” (Ben Sira 38:9-12). Our fellow Sheep and blog readers already know these truths by reading and studying their Bible. They already know to submit themselves to God’s Will as revealed by the Holy Spirit. Apparently it is necessary for the Sheep to now assist the Rams and Shepherds: "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to you shepherds of Israel who only take care of yourselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against the shepherds and will hold them accountable for my flock" (Ezekiel 34:17-24; Jeremiah 23; Isaiah 56:10-12). They are not able to discern these truths. If they did, the Rams and Shepherds would not be trying to discourage the Sheep from keeping their Spiritual Bodies healthy like the Natural Body– (1 Corinthians 15). If our Natural Bodies are to be maintained and kept healthy and strong, then how much more should we maintain our Spiritual Bodies? "For they that are according to the flesh, mind the things that are of the flesh; but they that are according to the spirit, mind the things that are of the spirit. For the wisdom of the flesh is death; but the wisdom of the spirit is life and peace. Because the wisdom of the flesh is an enemy to God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither can it be. And they who are in the flesh, cannot please God" (Romans 8:5-8). Are not our Spiritual Bodies just as vital as our Earthly Bodies? – “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18; Philo). This type of Wisdom is so self-evident that we call this our God-given Wisdom (aka: “Common Sense”). So self-evident, and yet we have Rams and Shepherds out there who are attempting to discourage the Sheep from exercising their Spiritual Bodies through time-honored Wisdom Traditions like those found in today’s Holistic Healing Arts like Yoga.
