When we were in our childhood, our parents and teachers would often ask us about our dreams. At that time, many of us were proud of telling our wonderful dreams. Maybe in their eyes, we could hardly realize our dreams when we grow up. In the composition class in one American primary school, a teacher asked children to write a composition about their dreams. A student loved this topic and quickly wrote his down his dreams on the notebook. He wished to own a manor, which had an area of over 10 hectares, green trees, countless cabins, barbecue area and a leisure hotel. Besides living there, he was ready to share his manor with travelers and provided accommodation for them to have a good rest. When his teacher saw his composition, he wrote a large red “x” on his notebook, handed it back to him and ordered him to rewrite it. The little child looked at his composition carefully and found no mistake, so he took his notebook to consult his teacher. “I want all of you to write down your dreams instead of these dreamlike fantasies. Do you know?” The teacher asked him. “But this is really my dream, my dear teacher!” He made his utmost efforts to fight for his point of view. “No, it is impossible for you to realize it. This is just a fantasy. Rewrite it again!” The teacher ordered him. “I am very clear what’s I really want, so I am unwilling to change my dream.” The little child was firm like a stone. “If you don’t rewrite your composition, I won’t less pass the exam, so you should think twice.” The teacher shook his head. Finally, the little child’s composition got a large “E”. Thirty years later, this teacher took a group of little children to go on vacation in a beautiful resort and enjoyed endless grasses, comfy accommodation and delicious barbecue. Immediately, a middle man walked towards him and said he was his previous student. At first, the teacher didn’t remind of him, but he said to his teacher that he was just the student who failed in the composition, but now he has a wide manor and realized his dream. The teacher looked at the owner of the manor and couldn’t help regret changing many students’ dream. Well, after reading this article, have you realize the importance of running after your dreams?
