Once an old carpenter prepared to retire, so he told his boss that he wanted to leave construction industry and went home to enjoy life with his wife and children. His boss was reluctant to part with this excellent worker and asked whether he was willing to help him build a house, and the old carpenter agreed with him. Later on, everyone understood he didn’t pay attention to building the new house. When it was completed, his boss handed the key of the door to him. “This is your home, for I regard it as a gift to you.” He was quite shocked and shy. If he had known that he was building a stone house for himself, he wouldn’t have done like that. Nowadays, he had to live in a poor house. In fact, we are like this old carpenter on many occasions. We carelessly lead our life. Instead of taking active actions, we negatively do with daily things and are unwilling to make them better at a crucial time. When we find our bad situations, we have been wrapped in the house that we built. Regard yourself as the carpenter, think about your house and build it by your diligence, wisdom and perseverance. You can create your life only one time in your whole life. Even though you could only survive for one day, you should be still elegant and noble, for life is created by yourself. Ok, now I would like to tell you another story. Once a girl complained to her colleague, “I want to leave this company, for I hate it very much.” Her colleague suggested her, “I raised both of my hands to approve of your revenge and give this bad company some color to see, however, this is not the best time for you to leave now.” “Why?” She asked. “Our company’s loss isn’t significant if you leave now. You should stay in the company a little longer, strive to get some clients and become the essential person, and then suddenly leave the company with these clients, which will make the company passive.” Her colleague said.” She thought her words were reasonable, so she worked hard instead of leaving the company immediately. After half a year, she had many honest clients. When they met again, her colleague said to her, “It is time for you to change your job and take actions as soon as possible.” “Our boss has talked with me and he said he decided to promote me to assistant general manager, so I don’t intention to leave.” She smiled lightly. After reading these two stories, I understand that “No pains, no gains.” In short, if you want to know more about stones, you can visit our stonebtb.
