Last year, after graduating from university, I began to search for jobs in society. Unlike many of my classmates, I got my job as an English teacher in a training school successfully in a month. At first sight, the female president left a good impression on me, for she looked sensible, mature, intellectual and modern woman. During the interview, she promised to me that she would treat me well as long as I taught well, so I looked forward to working there. Two days later, I carried my luggage to the dormitory and started to teach students. To be honest, I enjoyed being a teacher from the bottom of my heart, so I made my great effort to help students make progress. Unfortunately, she became easily angry with full-time teachers and blamed us harshly for nothing. After working there for a month, I couldn’t bear her any more, so I resigned firmly, which made her frenzy and shouted me loudly. At the moment, I was downhearted, locked myself in the room and cried helplessly. From then on, I gave up my original dream. After thinking twice, I decided to take a job in a foreign trade company. When I was interviewed, I told my previous unfortunate experience to the boss and claimed that he should treat me well if he wanted to hire me. Because of my excellent English, he promised to me on the spot and gave me a high pay, which made me much moved. At the time, I told to myself silently, “I will try my best to work well. If I could, I wish that I don’t leave there until I get married.” At first, the boss treated us well by celebrating our birthday, inviting us to have dinner and taking good care of ourselves in the daily life, so all of us worked hard and the performance got better day after day. Unexpectedly, the boss became very greedy and dissatisfied with us by finding our faults, which made us uncomfortable. Gradually, my colleagues were completely hopeless and resigned one by one. Eventually, I resigned too. Because I was the eldest staff, my boss invited me to have our last meal in a medium-sized restaurant, wishing to leave on good terms. To be honest, I think a good boss should treat his staff well from beginning to end so as to make long-term business.
