Implant placements Where the implants will be placed is an important aspect. Sub-pectoral placements means that the implants would be positioned behind the pectoralis muscle. Meanwhile, sub-glandular placements mean the implants would be under the glands. Positioning would greatly depend on the size, volume and types of implants. The thickness of tissues and fats are also considered. Some professionals prefer to operate on the unders if the patient has considerable fat and tissue mass that could fully cover the implants.
