James Lumbers Prints - TITANIC DEPARTURE Limited Edtion Canvas Giclee by James Lumbers - Noon hour, April 10, 1912 was to turn into a well known flash in history for The Titanic. Henry Abbott was sitting on his front deck enjoying lunch in the lukewarm spring sun. His dog Seymour was prepared for some scraps that might approach his direction. A Skylark resting on the birdbath voiced its delight in the balmy spring sun when a deep blast from RMS Titanic's whistle announced her departure from Southampton as The Titanic made way to the open sea. It was her "Au revoir". Henry grabbed his binoculars and watched as The Titanic disappeared into the distance.
