OUTWARD BOUND PROGRAMME FOR TEAM BUILDING Outward bound activities in now a days are used for various purposes one of the most popular being for team building. In this a mixture of activities are used once the age group and the physical and mental capabilities are analysed, then the team building tasks are set up and used accordingly. Impact The Team Building program emphasizes creative problem-solving and teamwork across a variety of challenges, which bring new insights both at the individual level and at team levels. Emphasizing group process, our facilitators lead a discussion both before and after each challenge so that the team can recognize its strengths and seize immediate opportunities to improve in the next task. Team Performance tasks are fun and fully engaging, so they make great kick-offs or break-out sessions for a companies employees and is a multi-day meeting or as well as powerful stand-alone event. Action We guide teams of 10-15 people through a series of multi-faceted challenges that engage the mind and the body, the individual and the team. Each task takes typically 45-60 minutes, including a briefing and a provocative debriefing session after each task. The Team Building Programme we can offer can include: • The Spider Web: The team must plan out how to get every team member from one side of the giant vertical spider web to the other side, without touching the web and while using each opening only once. • Bridge Is Out: The team must get from one platform to another platform 15 feet away—as if spanning a deep canyon or an acid river—using only two planks. This task has to be carefully planned out as both the planks are are shorter. With so many different tasks in our repertoire, we can tailor a program that engages your group and accomplishes your team objectives while offering the appropriate level of physical involvement. Variations and Extensions By selecting and leveraging particular Team Performance tasks, we can create a customized program that addresses your company’s immediate concerns, such as merging companies, self-managed teams, accountability, and more.
