Then we looked at the surrounding amenities, and again one word came to mind: Paradise! “But ‘Paradise with Paradise,’” you’re probably thinking right now, “that doesn’t sound quite right.” Let me explain. Quadra Alea – An Oasis of Paradise Entering Quadra Alea, the first thing that will strike you is how spacious and beautiful the design is. There are large green areas, beautiful pools, a gym, a spa – and everything luxury in quality! The units themselves are very similar in their concept. Each building is small but the units are very large with spacious terraces overlooking the beautifully landscaped common areas. (In fact, the units are so large that they are by far best price per square foot in the luxury market in Playa del Carmen!) Each building has a separate elevator going down directly from each floor to the underground parking lot. The complex is very quiet, very green, very open and very spacious – so much so, that you would imagine that you’re in the middle of the jungle, or at least in a gated community out of town. Yet, this is not the case. Playa del Carmen’s Little Italy – Paradise on the Beach Walking or driving out of Quadra Alea, residents will find themselves in the heart of downtown Playa del Carmen, directly in the trendy north half known as Little Italy because of the large presence of Italian expats and businesses. Within a very short walk, there are restaurants, cafes, gelaterias, pizza shops, cigar shops and much more. There are also local bakeries and cafes, not to mention large, international style supermarkets and all other services. All of this is located within a 10-15 minute walk from one of Playa del Carmen’s beach clubs which hosts an annual jazz festival directly on the sand of one of the area’s most beautiful beaches. There are many beautiful condo complexes within Playa del Carmen’s beachfront paradise, but what stands out especially with Quadra Alea is that it offers a quiet, spacious and luxurious escape right in the heart of it all, like no other development does. It really is both sides of the coin, and some of the best of each at that.
