High levels of the hormone testosterone are directly associated with an increase in stamina, muscle development, and an enhanced libido. But increasing age can see a drop in testosterone levels in men. But that's not a reason to worry about; as certain foods can help you increase your testosterone levels. Let's see which foods men should consume to keep testosterone levels at an optimum.

· Meat and poultry products: Properly cooked meat and poultry products like chicken and eggs can help to raise testosterone levels. Eggs are rich in vitamin B, an important precursor to raising testosterone levels.

· Cruciferous vegetables: Cauliflowers, turnips, cabbages, mustards, cresses, and broccoli a part of your diet. These veggies lower estrogen levels, thereby raising testosterone levels.

· Another food that raises testosterone levels is garlic powder. Even if you don't like garlic, try using garlic powder in your salads and veggies to increase your testosterone levels.

· Avocado, a fruit packed with potassium, folic acid, and vitamins A, B, D, and K can really boost the level of testosterone in your body. All these vitamins and minerals are essential for the production of testosterone.

· Other vegetables include tomatoes, red pepper, yellow squash, sweet potatoes, and carrots, all high in vitamin A, which plays an important role in the production of testosterone.

· It's imperative that your body receives its daily dose of vitamin D to maintain healthy levels of testosterone. Dairy products salmons, eggs, and mushrooms are all rich sources of vitamin D that you should consume for optimal testosterone levels.

· Eat apples, blueberries, pineapples, and lots of citrus fruits like lemons and oranges.

· Foods high in unsaturated fats, like yogurt and peanuts are advantageous for the body as they aid in producing testosterone.
