Head and Crown of Christ Stewardship keeps the Body functioning in His fullness. There is no such thing as a corporate-headship in the church. For all the heads of Israel had to build with ONE man and ONE House. Without the voice of the Lord the path of faith becomes an ambiguous endeavour . That is an invitation for chaos and the footsteps in the broad way. Colossians 1:18 “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” Does the town community determine family choices? Not in the church! Being free in Jesus has to do with personal and individual growth by regeneration, and to be of one mind and one mouth in the assembly requires apostolic oversight. That is how Jesus has the “preeminence” and “saves” the Body/woman/Church. Ephesians 5:23 “For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.” Many believers think that to live an aimless Christian life is being “free” in Jesus. Having no responsibility and commitment they also claim their “love” for Him shouldn’t be judged. Why? Because they have put the word charity on the scale of passion and not truth. The steward Paul saw this and said charity... 1 Corinthians 13:6 “Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;” True regeneration is the product of Christ where the Spirit is actively circumcising the heart by His commandments making a new man. 1. Charity suffereth long: and is not combative to control out of the fear of loss but endures the contradiction that seeks to dictate its own realities of life. Our example of faith is in subjection to Christ which shows we are being responsible to Him when we love one another in truth. This is the perspective of heaven and He is shaking the earth. Hebrews 12:3 “For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” 2. Charity is kind; for the words of our charity is to build and not to pluck down faith with the communication of the world which is doubt. The world lies in wickedness. Psalm 94:23 “And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.” And we can see how the apostle John discerns these powers. For true charity is born in the heart by the Spirit moulding us by this anointing. He calls those of this birth of God. 1 John 5:19 “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” Rebellion is Stubborn in Iniquity Not Freedom Deuteronomy 9:27 “Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin:” The unconverted believers use the name of Jesus to resist apostolic oversight to stand in their own efforts of good works. They insist the goal of goodness to be equal to the fruit. Notice that this pursuit is not the Spirit of God. King Saul was free to govern Israel but not apart from the stewardship of Samuel. 1 Samuel 15:23 “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.” The passions of the moral-code work all kinds of lasciviousness lusts with covetousness exalted (what sinners honour). Iniquity can create images of piety by fair words to deceive the eye. They warn the ignorant that conformity is bondage. This false light is found in the justifications it can create to impose its own principle as we see in the father of lies Satan. Saul’s position was ruled by the flattery of the wicked. Don’t let the flattery of the wicked abominate faith. Ministers of unrighteousness wish to cast the javelin at the ONE (David) God anointed to be the Key. Satan wishes to make unity look like bondage and truth as the shackles of self-interest. The apostle Paul said; 2 Corinthians 1:24 “Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.” False piety can portray its empty virtue as righteousness. But the anointing teaches us all things. We can weigh the words of God against the words of Satan which the unconverted cannot do. These are riotous to truth claiming that the Holy Ghost has taught them this perception and they are lawless to government thinking that oversight restricts freedom of faith while both apostles and truth assist growth and Body bonding (unity) into His full stature. Ephesians 4:13 “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:” To love God requires ALL the spiritual tokens to keep His commandments and your zeal of Him free of deception. Jesus set the pattern in the apostles for the church. 1 Corinthians 11:1 “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” And by this obedience to His command the Lord will reward your faith and place in you the understanding of this mystery. Behold let no man take your crown. Ephesians 3:9 “And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:” Learn More About Apostles Today and Their Purpose Learn what the challenges are and how to face them.
