Trying to leave something behind in our life is one of the most difficult things that we could ever do. No matter what it is about, trying to leave or forget someone or something for betterment is hard for some people. There are a lot of reasons why we chose to leave something behind, but the most common cause is love. Falling in love is one of the most beautiful feelings that we could ever experience in this world. Our romantic thoughts will often lead us to do risky things just to give delight to our partners. Indeed, falling in love is perhaps the best emotion we could practice, but it could also be the cause for the most painful grief that we would ever experience. In order to overcome the pain brought by love, people have come up with different ways to combat such heartaches. For some, indulging in alcoholic drinks will do the job. This will make us temporarily numb from external feelings and will monetarily forget the sorrow that is being experienced. However, the disadvantage of this process is that it may lead to alcoholism. The dangers in drinking too much liquor are many. One could get liver diseases or may get involved in a vehicular accident if the person is driving. Drinking is also quite costly because the government nowadays imposes heavy taxes on spirited drinks. Another way of overcoming pain from our previous love affairs is to simply look for another one. Some people will just jump from one relationship to another just to cover up the pain. Though this might seem to work during the early stages of the second relationship, but eventually it will crumble. This is because covering the pain from the previous love affair does not make it go away, instead it will just accumulate anger which then causes more pain in the end. But still for others, instead of doing the things mentioned above, they prefer to immerse themselves in extra-curricular activities just to keep their mind pre-occupied. Some may indulge to hobbies while some will try commonly played sports such as dodgeball for kids which are often played in Indoor Sports Victoria. Personally, playing or collecting something is a much more effective and beneficial way of forgetting someone. Simply because it does not cause any harm to ourselves and to other people. It will also give us a chance to meet other people with the same interest.
