Dear friends, do you know how to clean a marble home fireplace in the daily life? As we know, a marble fireplace makes an elegant addition to any home. Although marble is a durable stone, care must be taken during cleaning. Cleaning a marble fireplace should be done regularly to remove built-up dirt, dust and soot from the surface. Some cleaning jobs will require just light cleaning, while others will require a heavy-duty cleaning. Using the proper products to clean a marble home fireplace will preserve the surface and prevent damage while cleaning. Now I would like to tell you the instructions as follows: Firstly, dust off the marble fireplace. Use a soft-brush vacuum cleaner attachment or a feather duster to brush away loose dust, dirt and debris. Secondly, Fill a bucket with warm water. Add a few drops of mild dish soap to the water and swish it around with your hand to mix. Stone care products such as marble polish, tile cleaner, spot removers. Thirdly, dip a soft sponge into the bucket. Wring out the sponge well. Fourthly, wipe down the entire marble surface with the sponge. Rinse the sponge in the bucket of soapy water often to avoid reapplying dirt to the surface. Fifthly, go over the marble fireplace with a rag and plain water to remove the soap residue. Buff the surface dry with a chamois. Sixthly, fill a bucket with 1 gallon of hot water. Add ½ cup trisodium phosphate to the water. Fill a second bucket with plain hot water. Seventhly, dip a scrub brush into the bucket of cleaning solution. Scrub down the marble fireplace. Use an old toothbrush to scrub into crevices that are hard to reach. Eighthly, rinse the marble fireplace with a rag dipped into the bucket of plain water. Wash down the fireplace thoroughly with the plain water to ensure that all of the trisodium phosphate residue has been removed. Rinse the rag in the bucket frequently. Ninthly, buff the marble fireplace dry with a chamois. Tips & Warnings Lay plastic sheeting on the floor surrounding the fireplace to protect it from moisture during cleaning. Remove tough stains from your marble fireplace by wiping the area with a solution of 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 3 parts water. A baking soda paste also may be used to remove stains from marble. Apply a marble polish to your fireplace after cleaning to restore the stone's shine. Wear rubber gloves while cleaning with trisodium phosphate. Never use vinegar or any other acidic products to clean marble. Ok, finally, let me have a conclusion. As an eminent business E-platform of promoting stone industry for supplier or company, we have been continuously merging all kinds of resources together, in which regard not only have we realized the strategic combination of Stones Yellow Pages and overseas famous stone magazines, but also our good cooperation with overseas stone associations and organizations.
