On the exam day reach at test center at least one hour before time, in order to complete all the pretest formalities. It is better to reach early than to be late as latecomers may not be allowed to sit for exams. You cannot leave the exam hall before completing your test. Have proper meal before entering the test center as no food is allowed inside the exam hall. You are allowed to carry water along with you. Do not forget to carry your watch during exams to manage your time. Carry ample of pencil and eraser. The question in HPAT is multiple choice questions. In multiple choice question formats, one question has more than one answer and you have to select one answer. Multiple choice questions are better than other question formats as there are better chances of scoring high. There is no deduction of marks for giving incorrect answer, thus in this kind of exam you can guess your answer, if you are confused with the question. It is advised to first pay attention to those questions, for which you are confident about the answer. Do not waste your time with confusing questions or question whose answer is hard to remember or determine. First complete all the simple questions and then go for complex ones. Never leave any question, even if you do not know the answer of the question. Since there is no negative marking in HPAT test play with your luck, and tick the answer you feel can be the right answer. While answering the question Mark all your answers in the booklet carefully. There is just one answer to question. Attempt all the questions, as there is no negative marking for wrong question. Stop wasting your time on question you don’t know. The test is designed in such a way that no one can score full marks. There are few questions whose aim is to confuse and pressurize you, so don’t stretch yourself too much. If you find the question confusing and pressurizing leave it, later on if you get time try to solve it or try your luck and mark the one you fell might be the right answer. Stick to your predetermined time plan for each and every section.
