So many businesses are trying to cut costs, but a trade show display rental is not the place to cut corners. The last thing you want to do in front of your peers and potential clients is to appear cheap. Going to a convention is an opportunity to shine in front of competitors, your friends in the business, and potential customers and clients. If any time is a time for splurging, your presentation at a tradeshow is one of them. There are lots of ways you can create a memorable set up.

With so many companies marketing online, customers rarely get a chance to touch, see, smell, hear, and taste products except for at tradeshows. Whatever product or service your company is selling, let all passersby have an opportunity to handle the merchandise. If your product is food, present it in an appealing way and let your visitors taste test. If you're selling clothing, let them touch the beautiful fabrics and examine the stitchery. If you're selling leather boots, let them touch and smell the real leather. If you're selling electronics or musical equipment, let everyone see the programs in action and hear the sounds.

Banners and signs will draw attention to your space in the convention center. Make sure your logo and company name are prominently displayed in colors associated with your brand. Other visuals that will draw interest to your booth are computer screens or wide screens with mini-movies about your products or services. Selling pineapples from Hawaii? Show your passersby where they're grown on the island as they're taste-testing chunks of the sweet fruit.

Giveaways are always extremely popular at tradeshows. Everyone wants to walk away with a free gift and when that ball cap, coffee mug, or tee shirt has your company's name and logo on it, it's a win-win situation. When you give away wearable or usable souvenirs, not only will the recipient be thrilled, all the folks back home will ask, "Where did you get that?" And they can tell them all about your impressive trade show display rental.

One way you can save money, however, is by renting set-ups rather than purchasing them. Companies offer all sorts of set-ups including tables, chairs, electronics equipment, sound systems, computers, bookshelves, easels, and pop-up displays. You can arrange for a small corner to showcase your wares or you can have a grand scale portable room built into whatever configuration you need. If you're marketing large items such as cars or furniture, you're going to need ample space to spread out in order to put your best foot forward.

When a company attends a trade show, display rental options are endless. All it takes is creativity, planning, renting all the equipment, and you're ready to make a great impression that will last a long time. Although renting all the supplies will cost considerably less than buying everything, it will still require an allocation of funds. Plan carefully and put your energy into setting up the most memorable booth possible. Let your passersby see, hear, smell, taste, and touch your products and services so they'll remember you when they go home, order your products, and tell their friends.
