Results are in from the May 16-31 segment of The American Punditcontest, and for only the second time in 10 semi-monthly conteststhis year, both winners were chosen from the Writing Assignmentsubmissions. Contest rules stipulate that at least one of the two winningreports for a given two-week segment must be on the assigned topic,with the other winner coming from either general submissions orother on-topic submissions. We received many quality entries inboth categories during the last two weeks in May, but, aftercareful consideration, we"ve selected two reports on the roleof social media in the 2012 campaign as the $250 winners for thisjudging period.
