Drag shows, live musical performances and dance marathons all add to the unique flavour of the island’s evening scene. Mbargo, Bali Joe, La Plancha are just some among many bars and clubs that promise to lighten up your night! 4. So you’ve waddled enough in the water, you’ve had your share of sunbathing and you’re finally tired of beach hopping. “What next?” you wonder. Well, this only means its about time you made your way to Mount Agung. At 3,142 metres , this is the highest point on the island. The mountain is in fact a strato-volcano that last erupted in 1963. Folklore labels Mount Agung as a replica of Mount Meru, the central axis of the universe. An invigorating trek of roughly four hours will bring you to this majestic site. 5. No self-respecting tourist ever leaves a destination without exploring the shopping scene of that place! There are plenty of attractive knick knacks to pick up in Bali. Ceramic crockery is especially popular here, as are several shops here that sell traditional Indonesian artefacts and Batik print fabrics. Seminyak and Jimabaran are two popular shopping destinations in Bali. So book your tickets as fast as you can and pick the Bali tour package that suits you best!
