The reason behind this is that MBA is no longer seen as an additional asset – rather it has assumed the role of being a necessary and indispensible qualification if one wants to survive in today’s business environment. But if you do manage to get through, chances are that your career has already started taking a shaping up. The journey has just begun. In fact it is the regularity of education in these places combined with their exhaustive training schedules and comprehensive teaching methodologies is what attracts potential students. Thus, getting admission automatically means going through the whole grueling process and at the end of the session, be deemed as job-worthy. Campus Placements – This takes away the cake. Any B school’s success story is mapped through its campus placement details. So there is always a sense of competition among MBA institutes to out-win one another by bagging the highest grossing prize. And organizational set ups with specific MBA institutes contribute in making both popular. It gets simplified to the student as, - if I can get through that B school, maybe I will have a shot at that company since it comes for their campus placements every year. Choosing a B school is an individual decision and can be influenced by a number of factors. But one must not forget that the big cities will always have the competitive advantage and keep drawing huge crowds.
