The Airlines in India were limited to only the Two Airlines that were Indian Airlines and the Air India. Both these Airlines in India were controlled and managed by the government of India. The Indian Airlines serve the Domestic routes of the Indian Subcontinent and the Air India flies across the world, which is basically the International flight of India which serves on the International routes. But gradually the Indian Aviation Sector grew to a fast extent as many new privately owned joined the Airlines sector. These privately owned Airlines are running the cheap flights. The Airlines in India these days are the most preferred ones. The Private Airlines offer the flight tickets at the reasonable cost. Till few years back people of India were not very willing to plan a journey by Air as it used to come out to be very expensive. Only very few people in the Indian society could afford to travel by Air. But now the Airlines in India are really become cheap. Some of the Airlines In India which are popular for the cheap flights are the Spice Jet, the subsidiaries of the Jet Airways namely the Jet Konnect and Jet lite, Go Air, Indigo. These Airlines fly their flights on both the national as well the International routes of India. Even though these Airlines run the cheap flights but this does not mean they these Airlines lack in services. They provide the best of the Airlines amenities to all its passengers. The flight bookings are also easy as the passengers can make the flight bookings on the website of the Airline itself which the passenger has chosen. Moreover the passengers can make the flight bookings on their mobile phones as well by calling the call centre of the Airlines chosen by the passengers. The flight booking can be done even in advance and all the necessary relating to the flight booking can be obtained on the website of the chosen Airlines. The passengers are required to furnish their ID proof for obtaining the boarding passes, as this condition is applicable in all the Airlines in India.
