Pastel colors, fresh floral accents and adorable little animals are all classic elements of Easter home decor. If you are hosting a springtime brunch for your little ones, consider making your own Easter party decorations to enjoy a handmade holiday. It is also a wonderful way to involve your children in welcoming this beautiful season. The snack table and beverage station will be the gathering places of the party. Make attractive floral arrangements and place them as a centerpiece on the table or alongside the beverage station to bring festive fun to your Easter home decor. To make these striking Easter party decorations you will need: two clear-glass cylindrical vases, one slightly larger than the other, jelly beans in assorted colors, a length of ribbon, scissors, skewers and foam eggs. Place the small vase inside the larger one, and fill the space in between with jelly beans. Make sure that the inner vase is centered. Place foam eggs on skewers to form a bouquet that makes a sweet display. Secure the egg picks with a rubber band around the middle of the skewers. Tie a ribbon bow on each of these egg sticks. You can also use egg picks for this colorful arrangement. Egg baskets are one of the important aspects of Easter home decor. Mini egg baskets can be simple and your little ones will surely have a great time making them for themselves as well as for their friends. Measure craft sticks up against a foam cup. If the cup is taller than the sticks cut off the excess. Then add the handle by punching a small hole on each side of the cup. Put one end of a length of pipe cleaner in it and make a knot. Then wrap the pipe around your finger to make curls, take it off and loosen the curl. Put the other end of the pipe cleaner in the other hole and make a knot. Start gluing on the sticks around the cup. Paint the sticks and any of the cup showing between sticks. Wrap two pipe cleaners around the center of the baskets for added support. Fill these cups with jelly beans or candy eggs and set them out at each place setting as adorable Easter party decorations. Personalized chair backers or chair covers can be a wonderful alternative to Easter egg baskets. Look online for egg-shaped chair backers at your favorite lifestyle store for kids.
