Several people can do with reducing the risk factors that cause to heart disease. Metabolic syndrome is recognized by a group of metabolic risk aspects in one individual. These involve increased blood pressure level. Abdominal obesity (excessive fat tissue in and around the abdomen), insulin level of resistance or glucose intolerance (the body can’t properly use insulin or blood sugar). Incorporate as many lifestyle variations as possible. Such as eating a healthy diet, doing exercises frequently and losing body weight. This will considerably reduce the risk of diseases associated with metabolic syndrome such as diabetes and heart disease. Make dietary variations and stick to them! Eat plenty of natural wholegrain foods, vegetables and fruit. To help with weight loss, reduce the amount of food eaten and limit foods high in fat or sugar. Reduce saturated fats such as meat, full cream dairy and many processed foods as this will help improve your cholesterol levels. Also reduce the amount of alcohol to less than two standard drinks a day as this may help to lower triglyceride levels. Increase your physical activity level as regular physical exercise improves and raises the level of HDL (‘good’) cholesterol in your blood. This helps which helps remove excess cholesterol from your body and protect against heart disease. Exercised muscle cells are also more sensitive to insulin. Manage your body weight by increasing physical activity and increasing eating habits will help you lose excess body fat. As a result, your blood stress may decrease and your cells will be more very sensitive to insulin. Quit smoking as smoking increases your risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke, and cancer and lung disease. Quitting will have many health benefits, especially if you have metabolic syndrome. Lifestyle changes are incredibly essential in the control of metabolic syndrome. Sometimes treatment may be important to manage the various situations. Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of risk factors linked to improved rates risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes. People with at least three out of five risk factors—large waist circumference (more than 40 inches for men and 35 inches for women), higher triglyceride levels, lowered levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL, or "good" cholesterol), elevated blood pressure, and high glucose levels—are considered to have metabolic syndrome. If you’ve been told that you have metabolic syndrome (sometimes called cardio metabolic syndrome), it means that you have several of these health problems. Together, they put you at much greater risk for heart attack, stroke and type 2 diabetes. In general, someone who has metabolic syndrome is twice as likely to develop heart disease and five times as likely to create diabetes as an individual who doesn’t have this grouping of health issues.
