Or spongy pancakes sprinkled with tasty maple syrup? Whatever be the dish, there is no doubt that Americans have a special liking towards mouth-watering breakfast recipes. In this article, we explore 3 delicious sausage breakfast recipes: 1. Sausage Sweet Potato Bake This recipe features sweet potatoes, crunchy peanut butter, apple juice and pineapple slices. Cook a packet of breakfast sausage, drain the grease away and keep in a casserole. Place mashed potatoes over it. Mix peanut butter and apple juice in a separate bowl and pour over sausage and potato mix. Slice the pineapple and place it over the mixture. Bake for half an hour. Add potatoes, onions and peppers. Cook over medium heat until potatoes are tender. Remove from heat and add cilantro, green chiles. In a separate pan, scramble eggs and add it to the skillet. Bake in oven for 6-10 minutes. Warm a tortilla and add the filling in the middle with some cheese and fold. Wrap in aluminum foil to keep warm. Serve with salsa or sour cream. Add water, beer Old Bay seasoning and bay leaves to a large pot and bring to a boil. Add onion, lemon, potatoes and red pepper flakes. Cook for 15 minutes. Add sausage and liquid smoke and cook for another 15 minutes. Add corn and cook for 5 minutes. Add king crab legs and cook for 5 minutes until they look done. Remove bay leaves, drain and serve.
